 &lt;p&gt; To investigate these questions is a purpose of philosophy. Philosophy is a science of life.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The desire to preserve life is a purpose of an intention. 
An intention, which is present in all existence and in man, is a consciousness of life. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The desire to enhance life is a purpose of a wish.  A wish is a consciousness of ego. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The desire to experience all the above is the purpose of  &acirc;I&acirc;.
 &acirc;I&acirc; is full consciousness, endless field of nothingness, where everything else happens.&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;To get in touch with &acirc;I&acirc; is to jump into nothingness and to witness everything without a judgment, which leads to realization of intentions (subconscious) and transformation of ego into a stronger entity. &lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt; All existence is nothing but consciousness. Think of consciousness as the universal mind.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A mind of a person thinks of different stuff, primarily about his own life: how to improve his life; what to do next; what is better for him; what goes on around him.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The next would be a mind of a couple. Yes, it has two brains, but the thinking is done through one mind, as if they think out loud, the same stuff that a person does, and make up their mind.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A family may consist of two or as many people as we can imagine. The thinking  in here happens through many brains (in some cases just one brain :-)), that is a family mind.&lt;/p&gt; 

&lt;p&gt;Let the possibility of disagreement within a family not confuse you, since a person&acirc;s mind consists of  the same problems. We are all aware of our chaotic and procrastinating thinking. It takes a long time and struggling efforts to make up one&acirc;s mind. So does a family's mind.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You can continue on and apply the same logic to a culture, a country and the world.&lt;/p&gt; 

&lt;p&gt;What defines a mind is the thinking (creative) process.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The universal mind thinks/creates for everything that exists. It has many names, such as God, Universe, All mighty and so on.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The evolution of a human is a process where a person&acirc;s mind evolves into the universal mind.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<title>How to Win With an Attitude of Gratitude</title>

You&acirc;ve probably already heard of something called a gratitude rock. I first came across the concept whilst watching the excellent DVD &quot;The Secret&quot;.  
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
 

The concept in a nutshell is that you carry a small rock, or some other small object, around in your pocket that whenever you touch (normally at the very beginning and end of each day) you devote some minutes of focused thinking around what you are grateful for in your life. Always open to new ideas I tried it and use it every day now! 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
 

Not only do I use it every morning when I put my clothes on and last thing at night just before bed. I also use it occasionally during challenging times throughout the day. 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
 

CAN A ROCK REALLY IMPROVE MY LIFE? 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
 

No. But your thoughts can. The rock is just the device. If a group of wise people said to you - every day at morning and night take a few minutes to give thanks for how blessed you are in whichever area of your life you choose - you would lapse. But with a rock - you can&acirc;t miss it. You see it at the end of the day when your pockets get emptied and you see it first thing in the day when you put your clothes on. 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
 

No matter what you are striving for in life always take time out to be grateful for what you already have. You and I rank as the luckiest 1% of people alive on this wonderful planet today - we have a roof over our head, we have the ability to learn, eat and drink clean water. We are given every chance to live to our 70s and beyond. 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
 

Think of gratitude as a way of constantly upgrading the size of your success-fuel-tank. Whenever you are thankful you make room for another tankful. 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
 

I strongly recommend you get your own &quot;gratitude rock&quot; and use it every day - best thing in the morning and last thing in the evening to remind you of what you are grateful for. 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
 

It can be the small things or the big things. Be grateful for your eyes, your hearing, your friends, your freedom, the last meal you ate or your ability to read this! 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
 

What you need to remember is that being grateful is not some airy-fairy, new age nonsense - it WORKS! The more grateful you are for the things you already have in your life the more you open yourself up to receiving more of those things. 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
 

Aside from everything else and all the benefits it brings you being grateful for the great things in your life makes you feel good and ultimately this is what you&acirc;re aiming for right? 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
 

I mean, yes, of course you want the fast car, the mansion, the money in the bank, the perfect partner etc. But really all that is behind each of your goals is the driving fact that you want to BE happy and FEEL happiness. 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
 

So why wait? 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
 

You can have the feeling of happiness right now by taking a couple of minutes out every day to give thanks for the good things in your life. It&acirc;s only when you do this that you start to gain a bigger picture of your position, see how the land lies and re-energize for that push forward towards your bigger goals!

Proper Posture - On the one hand meditation can be done in any position. But there are certain things that happen during meditation that are enhanced by proper posture. The first thing to consider is staying awake. Since you are producing a state of extreme relaxation the most likely outcome, from a rushed and hectic life, is to fall asleep. But with that aside meditation will let energy (chi) flow through your body. The energy follows certain paths and a seated upright position is the most enabling for this energy flow. 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
 

Proper Breathing - Another reason for proper posture is that many meditation methods have a breathing component. Not only is there breath control involved but there are certain visualization that go along with the breath. The most common visualization is that on the inhale through the nose to see the breath come in through the nose, travel up over the head, down the back and up the front of the body to the stomach area. On the exhale to see the breath rise up from the stomach area up the chest and out of the nose. 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
 

Proper Attitude - Meditation is a process of refinement that cannot be rushed. An attitude of calm expectation is needed to progress. If you become annoyed or angry at the speed of your progress then rest assured your progress will become even slower. Since one of the goals of meditation is to calm the mind then an angry or agitated mind will only stand in the way of the desired goal. 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
 How to Concentrate - The most often given advice on how to meditate is to simply let your thoughts go. To just watch them and not to follow them. Which is very difficult. We have a great tendency to follow our thoughts into long stories until we forget completely about the act of meditating. An easier way to help slow down our thoughts is to concentrate on something. Imagine sitting on the edge of a lake at night and a full moon is clearly reflected in the lake. Keep your thoughts focused on the reflection until you can hold the image without there being any ripples in the water.

Simply follow these 4 steps and you will be on your way to changing your life in ways that will be predictable and controlled by you.

Contrary to common thinking, giving has nothing to do with material wealth. Whilst it may be true that material possessions enhance the capability to give, material gifts serve only to express the attitude of giving behind. With or without material possessions we can still afford to give. After-all, it is the priceless gifts of love and caring which all humanity craves for. 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
Everyone wants to be on the receiving end all the time, but to have a consciousness and conscience to think of others first before ourselves is extraordinary. To give a stranger a simple smile goes a long way. Just a simple act of kindness, like someone holding the door for me, makes a difference in my entire day. Though the act itself might be very simple but it is the attitude behind the action which is valuable. So don&acirc;t worry too much about what exactly you are giving, what has value is the attitude behind it, as the clich&Atilde;&copy; goes, &acirc;it is the thought that counts&acirc;. 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
Ironically, it is in the giving that we receive. Though we might not realize it immediately, or get the very same gift from another person but the more we give the more we receive. The immediate effect one can realize is on our bodies. The satisfaction that is gained from giving is invaluable. While we may spend our lives seeking for peace and joy, start giving and these things will just come to you. 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
Giving brings rewards which are beyond words. It&acirc;s a win-win situation, the giver benefits as well as the recipient. A person with a giving attitude has a positive outlook on the world. For how can you possibly give if your heart is filled with anger and frustration. So already, you can see, that by adopting a giving mindset, by seeking to put others first before self, our outlook on the world will simultaneously change. For all fears, worries and anxieties come when we are too bogged down with ourselves. However, the moment we let go of &acirc;me me me&acirc; and think of others these worries will soon dissolve. 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
This is not suggesting that we give up on ourselves, but rather to take a step back and look at the wider picture. Rather than seeking to receive all the time, seek to give, remembering that whatever we cause others to experience we will experience it ourselves and so much more. 
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
We are all part of the same thing. We all stem from ONE SOURCE and we generally all share the same feelings. By giving to others, you are working in alignment with the Source of all. And when you are in alignment with the Source, everything else is well taken off. You would have opened the floodgates of abundance into your life, and as you continue to give the more you will continue to receive.

But it doesn't seem to be helping the panic and fear. I let go of all my other intentions to focus only on this one now. I even tried *not* focusing on this one and only on wealth in whatever manner. A.  Sometimes the best way to figure out how to create something better is to simply return to the beginning. Let's re-examine how to consciously harness the law of attraction and intentionally employ the Power of the Universal Mechanism: &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In reality there are only three steps:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1) Ask for what you want. &lt;br /&gt;
2) Allow it to happen.&lt;br /&gt;
3) Take action in the direction of your dreams.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It's easy, right?! Here's what usually happens: &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We ask, attempt to allow, and take action. When what we want is not appearing to manifest, we cease and desist step 2 - the allowing. We stop allowing what we want by judging what is as 'wrong', 'negative' or 'not in alignment' with all that we desire.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The truth is we are getting exactly what is in alignment with our most dominant energy- always, without exception. Therefore, no matter how certain we are that we've been focused on positive thoughts, and there's no way the Universe has been responding correctly, it's not the Universe that is 'off-center' but our own consciousness and corresponding energetic web of intentions, thoughts, emotions, and beliefs that are attracting our experience. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This can be broken down even further, according to both what usually happens and how we would choose to create if we could be more conscious and intentional with the Law of Attraction.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For me, it is truly humbling to know that even though I know the process above and I know which path is the more optimal road for creating all that I desire, I too find myself in the middle of the self-sabotaging road of fear, doubt, and spiritual disconnection!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Our work is to be willing to constantly but gently, continue to readjust and get back on the faithful track that 'all is well' and 'I am indeed a fabulous creator.'  There's a rhythm to conscious creation: First we ask for what we want, then we accept, love, and allow what is, then we seek more joy and love through inspired action, then we ask for what we want with greater clarity and begin the process again. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Watch for language signals that indicate 'how' we are creating: &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&quot;Trying to stay positive&quot; indicates &quot;not succeeding at being positive.&quot; &lt;br /&gt;
&quot;Only sending dimes&quot; indicates &quot;I don't believe I'm going to get enough of what I need in time.&quot; &lt;br /&gt;
&quot;Discouraged, panic, not sleeping&quot; indicates the feelings that precipitated panic were there all along and now they've grown in their negative impact. If we are honest, they've been under the surface the entire time. &lt;br /&gt;
&quot;Coming to terms with facing these burdens doesn't seem to help with the panic and fear&quot; indicates you aren't really at peace with the burdens. Panic and fear will not be present when you are at peace - they cannot hold the same vibrational space. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Having explained why we create the way we do, I'll suggest a few things you can do about it. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
When we've already jumped overboard without a life preserver, the first order of business is to surrender to the sea! This does not mean we stop swimming but it does mean that we accept the fact that we must deal with the issue at hand. Fighting the water robs the precious energy that we need to survive. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Accept what is as Divinely Perfect - even when you cannot possibly understand &quot;how?!?!&quot; It's too late now to wish it hadn't happened. The only thing left to do is allow it to be. When you surRender to what is as all part of the Divine Plan you render it powerless over you.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
By accepting the Divine Order to any situation, you stop giving the negative aspects of the problem your attention and neutralize the impact of unhelpful reactions. SurRendering feels positive, hopeful, and peaceful. It does not feel fearful, doubtful, sad, or apathetic. If you think you've surRendered but continue to feel disconnected, then you are still fighting the water and wasting precious energy. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Once you've stopped the energy leakage by accepting Divine Order, you will feel a sense of courageous peace. Your mottos become &quot;I can handle this&quot;, &quot;this too shall pass&quot;, and &quot;bring it on!&quot; &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Now, if I were in this situation, I would take a day to EFT (use Emotional Freedom Technique) to neutralize every fearful thought I've ever had about this situation; all the past memories I can conjure up that remind me of this situation, and all the thoughts and feelings that are negative about the consequences.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Not only will this deepen your ability to surRender to the Divine Order, but it will also neutralize the negative vibrations that have been creating the opposite of what you want from the very beginning. From this new place of neutrality, you can now begin again to ask for what you want with greater clarity, certainty, conviction and faith. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It's not over - your conscious creation capacity is never over. Your work is to learn from what is, trust that all is well and continue to redirect your intentions. Take a deep breath and start swimming with conviction and you'll not only get through this but you'll find that the outcome was absolutely part of the Divine Plan for your life.&lt;/p&gt;

Fear and Anger Are Killers&lt;br /&gt;

Ask any doctor. The stress of feeling badly all the times can easily lead to medical disorders. Your body and mind are a continuum. In other words, although they are not exactly the same, a great overlap exists between your mind and body, uniting them. Relieve your mental stress and your body will be happier, too. It's time to unburden yourself of everything that has been blocking progress in your life by keeping you attached to an unhappy past. &lt;br /&gt;

Feeling Better Is a Process&lt;br /&gt;

Negativity accumulates in our lives, in our souls, over time. The process of removing it optimally happens in layers. It's best to release as much of each stored negative emotion as you can during each successive attempt. And of course, you want a safe, private means of release that is as quiet and effective as possible. You can jettison all that old negativity easily and thoroughly by following simple instructions. &lt;br /&gt;

Visualization&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;

Sports teams have used visualization to improve their level of excellence for decades, visualizing themselves winning trophies, for example. This same technique that so wonderfully installs positive expectation can also be used to  eliminate negativity. This means that you can literally let go of old stored feelings of anger, fear, abandonment, embarrassment, and so on, that have been accumulating inside of you all of your life. &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;

Let a Higher Power Help You&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;

Do you prefer the word God, Source, Universe, Goddess, Higher Self, or do you have yet another name for that which is all that is? Let your choice reflect your tastes, and let your Higher Power help you. For once you release negative energy, your Higher Power can then transform it into something positive elsewhere in the Universe. &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;

Humans Store Emotions Physically&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;

Your body is made of cells, the cells are made of molecules, the molecules are made of atoms, and those are made up of whirling bits of energy; ergo, your body is pure energy. We humans store old memories and emotions in our bodies. That's why the releasing of negativity is a physical, visceral feeling of expelling energy, because energy is what it is, what it all is, what we all are. Ask Einstein.  &lt;br /&gt;

Examples of What To Release&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;

Fear, anger, rage, abandonment, rejection, guilt, shame, worry, blame, numbness, hurt, hatred, jealousy, and disgust are good places to begin. Your unique soul will know which feelings most need releasing, and in which order to do them. You may need to release some of the deepest ones several times to remove ever deeper layers. &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;

What Does It Feel Like? &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;

Expelling negativity is not a negative experience, it is a relief. For example, when you let go of a deep layer of fear, you do not feel afraid, you feel relieved of fear. Letting go of rage does not mean that you'll be shouting and thrashing about. Rather, your feelings of rage simply pass out of you, and it is a relief. The old negative feelings are fully released and expelled outwards. Releasing negative emotions needn't involve experiencing the pain inherent in any individual emotion. You've already experienced way too much of that. Getting rid of them feels like what it is:  a release. It's like taking a gorilla off of your back. It's removing old baggage that does not serve you anymore. It actually feels good. And you will feel progressively better afterwards each time. &lt;br /&gt;

Follow Instructions Through the Steps  &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;

Get quiet and close your eyes. Be in a quiet, comfortable place without distractions. Vizualize that you are standing in a beautiful place with your arms up, way up, looking up at your Higher Power. Select the negative emotion you first wish to release, and make that happen. Feel it physically leaving your body, sailing up your arms, and then being jettisoned out into space, gone for good, released permanently. Repeat with all the rest of the stored emotions you wish to release. Another approach is to phrase it like this:  &quot;I release whatever is obstructing me from my goals,&quot; and let the stored emotions let you know what they are as they leave. &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;

Then Restore Your Spirit&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;

Once the bad layers are released, it's best to fill up the spaces they left with something wonderfully positive. May I suggest that you begin the restoration of your spirit with Personal Power, Love, Acceptance, and Inner Peace. Personal Power restores your boundaries to normal settings, Love returns you to harmony with all that is, Acceptance assures you that you are wanted and welcomed in the world, and Inner Peace encloses you in a wonderful blanket of secure and peaceful feelings. Simply visualize each of these in turn, whatever they look like to you, and bring each inside of you, merging and bonding with it, soaking in its individual positive energy, then radiating its clarity and serenity everywhere throughout your person. Think of these as permanent upgrades to your soul. &lt;br /&gt;

This is all well and good in theory, but let's take a look at some of the pitfalls that one could fall into when trying to put this into practice.

In our example we will take a common item that many people hope to get through their practice of the law: more money! In this example we&acirc;ll use the specific dollar amount of $1 Million dollars (nice round number). As explained in the workbook, you will place this dollar amount on your attraction board and repeat the series of steps necessary to sign, seal and deliver your request to the universe. But what do you do next? What are you thinking at the time? Here is a common wrong way to proceed:

Wrong:
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
Well, I just put out my intention for a million dollars. Hope it comes soon. Wow, that&acirc;s a lot of money. Where will it come from?
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
If it isn&acirc;t obvious, this will get you absolutely nowhere. This would be the equivalent of buying a winning lottery ticket and throwing it away. Let&acirc;s take a look, sentence by sentence, of where we went wrong.
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
Hope it comes soon &acirc; There is no such thing as &acirc;hope&acirc; when using the law of attraction. This puzzles many people as hope is often thought of as such as positive thing. What is overlooked, however, is the implicit doubt that goes along with merely hoping something happens. Saying you hope a million dollars comes into your life is acknowledging that there is a chance that it will not. Therefore, we must replace &acirc;hope&acirc; with a certainty such as &acirc;know.&acirc;
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
Wow, that&acirc;s a lot of money. The universe does not relate to size. Therefore, one million dollars might as well be a penny, for all the universe is concerned. By saying that a million dollars is &acirc;a lot of money&acirc; is basically telling the universe &acirc;I think a million dollars is more than I deserve, so I will completely understand when I don&acirc;t get it.&acirc; This is the equivalent of taking a check for a million dollars to the bank and thinking &acirc;wow, that&acirc;s a big check, I&acirc;ll be OK with the bank only putting $100 into my account.&acirc;
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
Where will it come from? Probably the most beautiful and magnificent part of the Law of Attraction is that it isn&acirc;t up to you HOW things get done. All you need to do is ask and believe it will happen. If these things are done correctly, the universe will automatically set things in motion to bring you what you want. Asking &acirc;how?&acirc; is implying that the universe requires assistance in giving you what you want, which is obviously untrue. In future articles we will explore how to open yourself up to these things and explore ways to take notice of the steps the universe is taking to make your dreams a reality.
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;
Finally, taking everything we&acirc;ve learned, here is the right way:

Well, I just put out my intention for a million dollars. I know that in an easy and relaxed manner, at the perfect time, I will have one million dollars. I realize that this amount is a drop in the bucket of the universe and I am fully deserving of that amount. I trust that the universe will create the path for me to making this dream a reality.

Once again, asking is key. However, if you don&acirc;t also believe that what you ask for will really come to you it never will. Identify your internal thoughts and use the rules above to turn your negative thoughts into positive affirmations. Remember, if you don&acirc;t believe you&acirc;ll keep getting a friendly reminder from the universe that &acirc;skeptics needs not apply.&acirc;

Make sure with your personal development that you do not make this first exception! Once you get a plan together, stick with it!

3. What is the plan? Most personal development experts recommend 30 minutes of personal development daily. How do you get that? Books, Seminars, CDs, MP3s, and coaching.
